I want to capture your most powerful moments. My name is Amina Symone. I am a photographer currently servicing the DMV area. I began taking photos at the age of 16. My first camera was a Canon PowerShot SX520. I started by taking photos of clothes made and outfits put together by my best friend (go follow her @georginadanglo). My camera was the only thing I had but I knew after finishing that first photoshoot, photography was something I wanted to fully invest my time in. I started learning more about the craft: lenses, lighting, backdrops. But I quickly realized photography is so much more than just the technical to me. It’s about making you the star of the show.
